29-4-23 : On the occasion of Foundation Anniversary of Idol of Shanidev Braham Jyot Satti ( Senior leader and Incharge BJP OBC Morcha Jammu Kashmir) inaugurated annual Bhandara at Shani Temple , Gurha Bakshi Nagar , Jammu and perfomed Langer Sewa .
Few year back these idols were installed by Happy Sharma ( President Temple Committee) and every year this bhandara is being Organised by him .
Parveen Badyal ( District Vice President BJP OBC Morcha ) , Nitin Khajuria (Sub inspector, JKP) and prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
Program started with pujan by Dignitaries then they pray for peace and Harmony of Nation. After that they inaugurated Bhandara for general public and performed Langer Seva , Served Langer among devotees .
Speaking on the occasion Braham Jyot greets devotees on this occasion and said that every year this foundation day is being celebrated with high enthusiasm and religious fervor .
He said During this entire day devotees performed various dance with drum beats and chanted bhajans in favour of Shanidev with zeal and gaiety.
He said on this day people also perform special puja and hawan which holds a very high importance since time immemorial and it literally means devotion, sacrifice, offering and worship and refers to any ritual done in front of sacred fire, often with mantras.
He appreciated organisers and said social work like bhandaras is highly appreciable and Mata Rani will bless all devotees with health, wealth and prosperity .
He said providing food to a hungry person is real service of humanity and BJP workers are continuously organizing these kind of tasks across Jammu Kashmir .
He said BJP is always available for needies and providing helping hands to other so we don’t leave anyone in hard time .
