Councillor Rahul visits Valmiki Colony, takes stock of people’s issues

JAMMU, JAN 27: Corporator Rahul Kumar today visited Valmiki Colony and took stock of the problems being faced by the people of the area. 

The residents of Valmiki Colony apprised the Councillor about their issues with regard to deep drains, lanes and other civic issues.

While interacting with the local residents, Rahul Kumar said that while the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Govt at the Centre is a development centric government believing that development on ground will speak about its achievements, at the same time it expects proactive participation and response from the people too. He asked them to contribute towards ensuring quality works by acting as vigilant citizens by keeping a close eye on the ongoing works. He said not only in Gandhi Nagar but multiple works are presently going on in the City of Temples and it is the duty of the people of the concerned areas to keep an eye on such works so that optimum standard works are ensured. 

Kumar assured the people of the area that the civic issues putforth by them would be resolved at the earliest. He said that there are a number of works in pipeline for Gandhi Nagar area and these shall be taken up very soon thus transforming the scenario of this block.

Highlighting the achievements and performance of BJP Government, Rahul Kumar asked the people to further strengthen the party in the interest of the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, the nation and its people.

Among those who were present include Rachit Khosla, Mandal Secretary, Danish Kotwal JE JMC, Jung, Sunny Azar and Govnda.
