REASI, Bimpal Singh :- Deputy Commissioner,Reasi Indu Kanwal Chib today chaired a meeting with district officers to finalise arrangements for smooth conduct of Maha Shivratri Mela 2021.
The three day fair will begin from 10th and culminate on 12th of March 2021.
During the meeting, Indu Kanwal Chib discussed various issues like facilities of drinking water, uninterrupted power supply, sanitation, repair of roads, security, medical facilities etc. She asked the concerned officers to make requisite arrangements for the smooth celebration of Maha Shivratri.
Regarding medical facilities, the Deputy Commissioner was assured by the CMO that sufficient number of medical staff along with equipment like oxygen cylinders, stretchers l, ambulances etc, are in place to face any medical emergency.Similarly, SSP Reasi Rashmi Wazir briefed the DC about security and traffic management plan.
The Deputy Commissioner was apprised by concerned officials from PDD, PHE and PWD about sufficient deployment of men and materials throughout the duration of the mela.
On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajinder Kumar Sharma, SSP Reasi Rashmi Wazir, CMO Rajeev Sharma, Tehsildar Lekh Raj, Naib Tehsildar Ashok Kumar, XEN Phe,PWD,PMGSY, Bdos, Sarpanchs,ARTO Rajesh Gupta,CRPF Commandant, President Jk Indian Style Wrestling Association Katra Shiv Kumar Sharma, and other district officers were present.
