Tourism in Jammu has grown in the past few years. Nathatop is one of the most visited places in winters due to its extremely cold temperatures and snowfall. However, tourists have complained about the lack of basic facilities like food and good roads here.
One of them said “Nathatop is a nice place. I’ve come here before many times. But the only thing that lacks is food. There must be food stalls or restaurants. Someone who carries food from home or lower regions is lucky but the others suffer here. Rest everything is fine.”
“Many people visit this place every year. Government should take care of the roads. Dirt tracks should be constructed to proper roads. It will beneficial for the locals as well as the tourists.” added the other.
Many people spoke about their good travel experience to Nathatop. They praised its natural beauty and weather.
“This place is really nice. I visit it often with family members. We all enjoy here especially children. Since it’s cold here, kids will love to play with snow.” said a local tourist.
