Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray, J&K unit today staged protest against the Central Government for not showing its serious concern on unemployment, economic slowdown and unbridled inflation. Dozens of Shiv Sainiks, led by J&K President Manish Sahni, assembled outside the Party Office, Channi Himmat and raised slogans against the central government. Talking to reporters here, Sahni emphasized the after unemployment and economic downturn, inflation is making trouble for the common masses. Sahni said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also not showing its concern about the aforesaid matter and maintaining silence. The media also has not highlighting these issues and also not in a mood to counter the government on these issues, which is a matter of great concern. Sahni said that with unemployment and inflation, the central government is proving to be a complete failure in overcoming the economic recession. “GDP is dusting with the figure of – 23.9, people are losing their jobs, prices of common essential items including potatoes, onions, tomatoes, etc. are skyrocketing. The figure of the number of corona victims is touching one lakh cases per day, but all these issues probably does not matter the government,” he said. Sahni appealed to the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to intervene into this matter and take positive steps to resolve aforesaid issues so that the common masses may not face more inconvenience in near future. Among those who joined the protest include President Women Wing Meenakshi Chibber, working President Ashwini Gupta, General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Secretary Raj Singh, Women Vice President Sofia Sagu, Sanjeev Sudan, Geeta Rani, Mangu Ram, Rajesh Handa and Dimple were also present.
