New Areas Under the Rules of Containment Zone are Declared by DC Jammu

Yesterday, DC Jammu Sushma Chauhan declared 19 locations in district Jammu as Containment Zone or Red Zone areas among which the location added are Jhullaka Mohalla, Christian Colony (Peer Mitha), Jain Bazar, Bakshi Nagar, Resham Ghar, New Plot, Rehari, Kachhi Chawni, Dogra Hall, Kanak Mandi, Sector-2 Sanjay Nagar, Rampura (Nai Basti), Near Narwal Plain (Satwari), Near Carmel Convent School (Kunjwani), Last Morh (Hajipora), Sheikhpura (Ward No.-48, Bahu), Brahmin Mohalla (Ward No.-01, Narwal), Janipur and Bantalab. This situation is emerged due to increase in number of Covid positive cases in these areas, so for immediate prevention or speedy remedy is desireable to prevent danger to human life, health or safety. In the above mentioned locations ten are rom Tehsil Jammu, five are from Jammu South, two are from Bahu and two are from Jammu North. So to save the lives of people in this pandemics, DC Jammu issue certain directions for safety and prevednting any harm to human life. So following restrictions are hereby announced in the above given containment zone locations of Jammu- The areas shall be under strict lockdown and tight perimeter control, except for employees of health and sanitation fields. There shall be no movement wwhatsoever in and out of the containment zones. All business establishment except Medical shops shall remain closed. In case of any medical emergency, individuals can contact 24*7 control room at 0191-2571616 and 0191-2571912, so that necessary facilitation can be done. If anyone would be seen violating the rules issued then certain punitive actions could be taken against him.
