Chairman Jammu Municipal Corporation and senior BJP leader Baldev Singh Billawaria kick started the work of community hall slab at Ram Leela Ground, Gangyal in Gandhi Nagar constituency. Billawaria said that this place used to have Ram Leela 50 year ago, which do not happening with time and people are lose interest, while some people are also preparing for illegal occupation of this land, while first we protected this land and saved it from the encroachers so that some work could be done for the good of the people then people have been demanding to build a community hall on this land for a long time, which got the government to approve the fund, and today the work has been started to put its slab on that place for the construction of the community hall which meet the pending demand of the people. This condition will be of particular benefit to the people of the area, where people will be able to do their big and small celebrations. Billawaria said that he is working towards resolving the problems faced by the weaker and backward sections of the society and it is indeed a matter of satisfaction for him that he is capable of some kind of expansion. He said that an amount has been earmarked for this work, but if necessary more funds will be available to complete the work of the community hall. He assured that after being elected a representative, he has always been engaged in working for the welfare of the society. He said that the Modi government is committed to the overall development of the people with special focus on infrastructure development and social welfare. He highlighted various schemes of the Modi government for infrastructure development, which will change the landscape in the country and help make India a developed nation. On the other hand, local people thanked Billawaria. Durga Mandir Committee President Purna Verma, Ranjit Singh, Satish Kumar, Surjeet Kumar, Bhanu Pratap Singh, Mulkh Raj, Abhinandan Sharma, Rajinder Singh, Hardeep Singh, Balwan Singh and Om Nath were present on the occasion.
