Covid-19 recovery rate improves by 66.30 per cent

Approximately 12 lakh 30 thousand 509 people have recovered from covid-19 in India so far. It is more than twice the number of five lakh 86 thousand 298 active cases in the country. The Health and Family Welfare Ministry today said that in the last 24 hours, 44,306 patients have recovered from the covid-19 pandemic across the country.

The recovery rate has gone up to a stirring rate of 66.30 per cent and the case fatality rate has further declined to 2.09 per cent. The Health Ministry said, a total of 52,050 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the country in a day taking the total number of positive cases to 18 lakh 55 thousand 745. In one day, 803 people have succumbed to the disease taking the nationwide death toll to 38,938.
