DDMA warns: Do not lower guard as mouth of COVID-19 is wide open

The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Srinagar has warned people not to lower guard as mouth of COVID-19 was still wide open. Covid-19 has already taken over 340 lives and over thousands are ill in the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir.
District Magistrate and Chairman DDMA Srinagar Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary said, “Eid is here. We need it to bring us some cheer in these miserable times. But COVID-19 has opened its mouth wide open and we cannot drop our guard. Please watch and share.”
He requested the people to spread this message so that more precautions could be taken during the Eid-ul-Azha celebrations.
