Veteran actress Kumkum passes away at the age of 86
Veteran actress Kumkum passes away at the age of 86 at her residence in Bandra, Mumbai on 28 July, tuesday. She has worked in more than 100 movies, including superhit movies like Mr X in Bombay, Mother India, Son of India and Kohinoor. Her popular songs include, ‘Kabhi aar kabhi paar’ and ‘Mere mehboob Qayamat hogi’.
The news of her sad demise was shared by the late actor Jagdeep’s son Naved Jafri on his Twitter.
Singer Lata Mangeshkar and Veteran actor Dharmendra also took to Twitter handle and mourned the loss of the departed soul.
