Under PM Modi, India has emerged as a world power: Adv. Abhinav Sharma

In a press conference held by Adv. Abhinav Sharma, Spokesperson BJP of District Ramban, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the last six years has proved himself to be a Prime Minister with a difference and has lived upto the expectations of not only more than 130 crore Indians but also to the expectations of the entire world and during the last six years has emerged as the most successful global leader.

Adv. Abhinav Sharma accompanied by BJP Ramban District President Rakesh Thakur and other party leaders, while briefing the media highlighted the major achievements of the Modi government for the last six years and particularly of the first year of the second term of Narendra Modi the Prime Minister of India.

Adv. Abhinav Sharma said because of the honest and decisive approach of Narendra Modi, the entire nation is standing behind Modi as a rock.

Adv. Sharma highlighted various achievements of PM Modi on account of which India has emerged as a world power. The surgical strike at Balakote, handling COVID-19 despite tough opposition by Congress and other political parties, opposing the lockdown.

During six years, he said historical decisions were taken under the leadership of PM Modi, like abrogation of Article-370 and 35A of the Constitution of India, which were a great obstacle in the implementation of beneficial Central Laws to the erstwhile state of J&K, Ayodhya Verdict, Tripple Talak, One Rank One Pension, Old Age Pension, various schemes for the welfare of farmers.

In so far as J&K is concerned, he said during the Prime Ministership of Narendra Modi many historical decisions concerning the development of J&K were taken like the establishment of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) separate for Jammu and separate for Kashmir, Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Ring Road, Jammu-Akhnoor four lanning project, Construction of various important bridges like Atal Setu Bridge (Basholi) over river Ravi i.e. from Dunera to Basohli road connecting three states J&K, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh which is first of its kind in North India and fourth of its kind in the entire nation, Domicile Laws benefitting more than 5 lakh residents of J&K living outside, who were denied many benefits in the erstwhile state now J&K UT, abolition of interviews upto level-IV on account of which those who don’t have approach to higher ups but are meritorious students will be benefitted in the process of recruitment and the chances of favoritism are dispensed with.

Adv. Abhinav Sharma further said even SRO-202 of 2015 is under serious reconsideration of the Govt. and BJP at all levels has damaged the revocation/reconsideration of SRO-202, as the object behind framing SRO-202 was time specific and that time specific object does not hold the field as on date.

Lastly, he said many Central Laws have been made applicable to the UT of J&K and the people/citizen of UT need to understand the long term benefit of those laws despite the initial difficulties faced by them and assured the people of UT that within next two to three years, the entire complexion of UT will be changed. He also clarified that the delimitation though is being done on the basis of 2011 census but practically there shall be an altogether new census on the basis of domicile, which shall undo the injustice faced by the Jammu Division concerning Political representation in Assembly.
