Jammu and Kashmir will not get admission without pass, hotels and malls will open today, religious places closed

Jammu : Those coming to Jammu and Kashmir will not be able to get admission even after June 8. According to the new SOP issued late last evening by the government, people will be allowed to enter the union territory only if they pass.
From June 8, hotels and malls will be opened with some conditions, while conditional public transport will be restored in the districts covered by the Orange and Green zones. On this basis, mini buses and buses will be able to run in all the districts except Ramban district in Jammu division.
According to the SOP issued by Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam, all the malls except the red zone districts will open from Monday, but only 50 per cent shops will be opened at one day interval. The shops will open from 9 am to 7 pm.
The air conditioner will have to be kept at 24 to 30 degrees Celsius. Food court and dining facilities will not be restored. Children’s play zones and cinema will also be closed in the mall. Hotels will also be able to open with 50 percent capacity. In Orange and Green zones, Matador will be able to run on the designated route with 50 percent capacity.
Bus services will also be restored in these zones, but only 67 percent of the passenger capacity will have to be maintained. Only SRTC buses can run in the red zone districts. Restaurants will also open, but home delivery and take away service have been continued.
Religious places will remain closed for the time being
Religious places will open all over the country from Monday, but religious places in Jammu and Kashmir will remain closed. Preparations have been made in all the temples including Mata Vaishno Devi, Shivkhodi, but the devotees will have to wait longer. On Sunday, sanitization was done in all temples, mosques, churches so that the devotees would not have any problem if the order came.
Decision on salon-parlor
According to Simrandeep Singh, Secretary, Department of Disaster Management, barber shops, salons and parlors will be opened across the state under the SOP to be released on June 8.
They won’t open
- All schools, colleges, universities, Anganwadi centers, coaching institutes. Offices will be opened for administrative work
- All cinema halls, gyms, swimming pools, amusement parks, spas, theaters, bars, auditoriums, assembly halls
- All types of social, political, sports, entertainment, educational, cultural and religious programs
- Ban on movement of people for unnecessary work from night to eight in the morning
- People over 65 years of age, pregnant, children below ten years will stay at home
These activities will begin
- Private hospitals, clinics and nursing homes (also OPD services)
- All Ecommerce & Courier Services
- Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and related activities
- Canteen facility at bus stand, railway station and airport (arrangements will be made in the Red Zone)
- Auto rickshaw with two riders
- With a four-wheeler driver carrying two passengers, two-wheelers will not be able to sit in the rear
- Wedding ceremony with attendance of 50 people
- The funeral will not include more than 20
