22 promoted as officiating Deputy SPs

JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday promoted twenty-two Inspectors of J&K Police to the rank of Deputy Superintendents of Police on officiating basis. The order in this connection has been issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Home Department.
As per the order, “Sanction is accorded to the promotion of Inspectors as Deputy Superintendents of Police on officiating basis, with benefit of charge allowances as admissible under rules for a period of six months or till these posts are filled up on regular basis on the recommendations of DPC, whichever is earliest.”

These police personnel included Jamroodh Singh, Yashpal Singh, Mohd Abdullah Wani, Abdul Hamid Dar, Jabeen Akhtar Lone, Saraj Ud Din, Maroof Ahmed, Abdul Rashid Khan, Ghulam Mohd Bhat, Anu Kumar, Deepak Tulsi, Mushtaq Ahmed, Rajesh Sharma, Chimba Smastan, Mohd Basir, Inderjeet Singh, Manoj Kumar, Mohd Aslam, Sanjeev Kumar, Soma Ram Langeh, Satish Kumar and Shiv Kumar.
