Today a delegation of working Journalists, Reporters and media persons called on SDM Akhnoor and submitted him a letter against the formation of a Press Club Akhnoor without any registration, constitution and bye laws.
The delegation apprised SDM regarding a news published in a leading Newspaper of Akhnoor and a note circulated in different groups regarding election of Press Club Akhnoor and formation of Press Club Akhnoor. According to the delegation the so formed Press Club Akhnoor has no registration, affilation and approval. They said they have not adopted any proper procedure and even they have not given any prior information to administration regarding election. Delegation said the so called group who have elected President and other office beared have not even invited all working media and press persons in their process which shows their malifide intentions. They said using name of Press Club Akhnoor without registration and Constitution is highly objectionable which needs a check.
SDM Akhnoor gave patient hearing to delegation and assured for appropriate action in this regard
