Today Amit Gupta, Hon’ble Councilor Ward No. 19, Jammu Municipal Corporation along with members of Chand Nagar Yuva Sangathan felicitated Sh. Ankush Kapoor, (Informatics Officer, Jammu Municipal Corporation).
Amit Gupta, said that Ankush Kapoor is the man behind the innovative concept of fabrication of decontamination & sanitizing tunnels in the district Jammu and emerged as one of the Corona Warriors from the union territory. This 1st ever sanitization tunnel was installed at GMC Jammu by JMC on April 6 to provide safe protection and entry for anyone visiting the hospital. The tunnel that was designed by Sh. Ankush Kapoor is the only hydraulic tunnel in India and is the heaviest among all the tunnels which makes it unique and the robust. The sheer dedication and hard work displayed by such officers clearly explained their work ethics and responsibility towards the society.
Amit Gupta, further said that in the present hour of crisis, much needed out of the box solution is provided by Sh. Ankush to Jammu City so that we all can remain safe at our homes. He said that it is our duty to raise their morale and honour their services as they are contributing for the welfare of the society. He said that everyone of us must do our bit in this long battle against the corona virus.
At the end, Amit Gupta thanked and appreciated the efforts of Sh. Ankush Kapoor Corona Warrior for the services that are being provided by him for the prevention of COVID-19.
