Awantipora Police created whatsapp groups at Police Station levels to get immediate information of the villages in the area of the respective police Stations with regard to the control of the spread of Coronovirus. The Whatsapp groups have been created with proper permission and officer of DySP rank is the admin of the each group. The group members are the respected few persons from different village/ each village.

Objective of the said whatsapp groups is to inform villagers about various government orders/ advisories in simple language related to Covid-19 and also to get the feedback from the villages like on account of Social distancing and distribution of essentials etc. especially from those villages which are far away from the police station location.
The said groups will also act as Police help lines for any help required from police with respect to control of Covid-19.
