Today SDPO Akhnoor Ajay Sharma along with SDM AKHNOOR Gopal Singh took a meeting maintaining social distance in the market with all karyana shop owners, medicine shop owners and the prominent citizens of akhnoor town. During the meeting SDPO Ajay Sharma directed the shopkeepers to draw social distance circles outside the shops. He said although 60% of shopkeepers have followed his instructions but this should be followed by every shopkeeper whose shop is opned during lockdown.
Officer further requested to start home delivery service of items within the limits of MC Akhnoor for which he directed them to display the contact number outside shops and offer some discount or gift for home delivery. In order check the black marketing and rates of items he directed shopkeepers to display rate lists out side their shops which should be signed by the concerned association presidents with copy to police.
He also requested shopkeepers to request their customers with folded hands to keep their family at home to avoid any kind of gathering at shops. At last he appealed shopkeepers to be ready to open shops in shifts i.e morning and evening if need arises.
