Delimitation on the basis of 2011 census will perpetuate Dogra Hindu slavery- IkkJutt Jammu.

In a seminar on implications of Delimitation in J&K on the basis 2011 Census an overwhelming view that the decision will perpetuate the slavery of Jammu emerged. The seminar on the topic, ” Delimitation on the basis of 2011 Census- Betrayal of Jammu” was organised by IkkJutt Jammu at Press Club Jammu. The main speakers in the seminar were Prof Hari Om historian, political analyst and patron IkkJutt Jammu, Sh Anil Pasha president Young Blood Association and Vice President IkkJutt Jammu, Susheel Pandit leading political analyst and thinker and Ankur Sharma Chairman IkkJutt Jammu.

Prof Hari Om in his innaugral speech described the decision to initiate new delimitation in J&K on the basis of 2011 Census a shocking development which will negate the impact of Neutralisation of 370, abrogation of 35 A and reorganisation of Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories. ” It will strengthen the same forces who are leading separatism in J&K and further cripple the nationalist population in the Union Territory.” Sh Anil Padha said once again Jammu has been betrayed, once again perpetuating slavery of Dogra Hindus is being flaunted as a national interest.” We have to stand up and fight this.”

Sh Susheel Pandit in his eloquent presentation described the decision of new Delimitation based on 2011 census as an exercise to undo the decisions of August 5. It appears to be an act of internal Sabotage. It will rehabilitate Jihadi separatism. For Hindus a new free and fair Census is critical. 2021 census should be the basis of new delimitation. Let us all fight for it.”

Ankur Sharma said that Conducting Delimitation of Assembly/Parliamentary Constituencies on the basis of Census 2011 is the surest way to once again sell out Jammu and keep it hostage to Fundamentalist Kashmiri Islamic Hegemony. Further commenting on the census operations in J&K he said that it is only because of the fudged census that a). when in 2002, the number of voters in Jammu were more than Kashmir by 1.41 lakhs, Kashmir’s population was falsely shown to have increased by 14,11,000 in 10 years from 2001 to 2011; b). the average population growth of Jammu Province which was 31% between 1971-2001 dropped to 21% in 2011; c). Due to migration within and outside the state on account of Hindu and Sikh Genocide in Kashmir, the percentage growth in Kashmir’s population should have been lower but it grew by 26% post 1991; d). population of Muslims as a %age of total population increased by 4.12% whilst that of Hindus and Sikhs fell by 4.27%.

Sh Anil Padha Vice President IkkJutt Jammu said that since population is the main criteria for conducting census in terms of Delimitation Act 2002, Jammu cannot accept Delimitation on the basis of fraud and fudged Census. The seminar was attended by people from all walks of life
