Baldev Singh Billawaria, Chairman Public Health Sanitation Committee of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) facilitated being re-elected unopposed chairman. The facilitate ceremony was organized by Gandhi Nagar Aquaf Market Association in which the members of the association august Chairman Billawaria and raised some of the market demands.
Members of the Aquaf Market Association put forward chairman, Billawaria that due to lack of drainage of dirty water in the street, water is created in the street, due to which the common people are facing problems. On the other hand where as the members of the association also apprised the chairman about the street lights. They said that the street light in the market is less, even if the light is defected it is not giving proper light, its switch is bad. Due to lack of better lighting, the streets of the market remain dark.
On this occasion, Billawaria thanked for facilitate by Aquaf Market Association and said that the members of the association who have given him love will be grateful forever. He assured that the evacuation problem will be resolved. If sewage is not being cleaned, will be noted and resolved. Regarding the street lights, Billawaria said that there is some problem of street lights which will be fixed soon in coming days as it has been tendered and some wards and markets have install new streets lights, where it is not there too lights will be installed soon.
Local corporator ward no. 20 Rahul Kumar, while welcoming the chairman in his ward. He said that we have launched the development of the ward by taking so many works such as lanes and drains to give proper service.
