Indian Army organizes arms training camp for girls in J&K’s Mahore District Reasi

The Indian Army has started a training camp for girls in the army training camp (Pir Panchal range) Mahore District Reasi.

The training programme focusses on women empowerment where women from far flung areas are given training for enrollment into the Indian Army, Police and BSF. They are well informed regarding exam training, documents required, forms to be filled and the required qualifications.
This training programme has been initiated for the women who have expressed their desires to join security forces in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. These women are being trained in academics, physical fitness, and handling of weapons.
The classrooms are fitted with LEDs so that they can also gain knowledge through video learning.
During this training COVID-19 protocols are also being followed. The trainees are given weapon training keeping in consideration the social distancing norms. They are taught how to open or close the guns.
The women aspirants are prepared and motivated for serving their nation. With this, young women of the area have realised their true potential and want to contribute to nation-building. They want to utilise this opportunity to achieve their aim in life.
