RS Pura: A free medical camp was organized in Srinagar by the Department of Ayush at Kalali Tibba RS Pura where an annual Mela was organized by Jai Baba Birfa Nath Ji Trust in RS Pura. The medical camp was organized on the directions of Director Ayush, Dr Mohan Singh wherein District Ayush Officer deputed a team of doctors from Ayush Unit including Dr Samta,Dr Arti ,Dr Kavita, Head Pharmacist Naresh Kumar Sharma for the free medical camp.The government has taken steps to organise such Ayush medical camps at the doorsteps of people so that all people get benefit from these camps. A team of yoga therapists also guided the people by suggesting exercises which would help them in dealing with back pain, neck pain and other such problems.The motive of this camp was to make the public aware of Ayush and the benefits of its medicines. This camp got a huge response from people of the locality as nearly 5000 people got benefitted from this free Camp. People in huge numbers were thronged the medical camp and lauded the efforts of the authorities for providing services to them at their doorsteps.This department plans to continue such camps in future so that people get aware of Ayush medicines and get benefits from them.The organizers of Mela thanked the ISM Department for organizing a free medical and awareness camp at Kalali Tibba. They expressed gratitude towards ISM Department J&K and the Doctors for their services towards Mankind.Team of Doctors also thanked organizers of Mela for their cooperation in organizing the camp.
