Jammu Kashmir Govt issued Guidelines/instructions on lockdown measures in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
The Government has raised the limit of pilgrims to Mata Vaishno Devi Ji shrine up to 15000 a day from November 1.
According to an order issued by govt, a copy of which is in possession of JK Media, Instead of a ceiling of 7000 mentioned at para 3(ix), the upper limit for permissible number of pilgrims to SMVD Shrine, Katra, shall be 15000, w.e.f. 01.11.2020.
The requirement for travelers to undergo 14 day Home Quarantine as mentioned at Para 6 shall be deleted.
Religious processions and large religious gatherings will remain strictly prohibited.
All Other protocol/ instructions shall continue to remain valid till 30.11.2020.
