{"id":8887,"date":"2020-09-14T06:37:40","date_gmt":"2020-09-14T06:37:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/?p=8887"},"modified":"2020-09-14T06:37:41","modified_gmt":"2020-09-14T06:37:41","slug":"sbi-cuts-interest-rates-on-fixed-deposits-on-select-tenors-check-out-fd-rates-for-general-public-senior-citizen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/index.php\/2020\/09\/14\/sbi-cuts-interest-rates-on-fixed-deposits-on-select-tenors-check-out-fd-rates-for-general-public-senior-citizen\/","title":{"rendered":"SBI cuts interest rates on fixed deposits on select tenors \u2013Check out FD rates for general public, senior citizen"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The country\u2019s largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) has reduced interest rates on select tenors of fixed deposits with effect from 10 September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SBI had reduced in fixed deposits interest rates once on May 27 and once on May 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new rates of interest, effective from September 10 shall be made applicable to fresh deposits and renewals of maturing deposits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cRevision in Interest Rates On Retail Domestic term deposits (Below Rs. 2 crore) interest rates revised w.e.f. 10.09.2020. The rate applicable to all Senior Citizens and SBI Pensioners of age 60 years and above will be 0.50% above the rate payable for all tenors to resident Indian senior citizens i.e. SBI resident Indian Senior Citizen Pensioners will get both the benefits of Staff (1%) and resident Indian Senior Citizens (0.50%),\u201d it said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The country\u2019s largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) has reduced interest rates on select tenors of fixed deposits with effect from 10 September.
