{"id":8352,"date":"2020-09-02T05:36:32","date_gmt":"2020-09-02T05:36:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/?p=8352"},"modified":"2020-09-02T05:36:34","modified_gmt":"2020-09-02T05:36:34","slug":"army-jco-killed-in-pakistan-firing-along-loc-in-rajouri","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/index.php\/2020\/09\/02\/army-jco-killed-in-pakistan-firing-along-loc-in-rajouri\/","title":{"rendered":"Army JCO killed in Pakistan firing along LoC in  Rajouri"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) of the Indian Army was reportedly killed on Wednesday in a ceasefire violation by Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC) in Tarkundi sector in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire and opened fire at forward posts in Keri sector, drawing retaliation from the Indian Army, the sources said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to sources, the JCO deployed on the forward post along the LoC sustained injuries during ceasefire violation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The JCO later succumbed to injuries, the sources said, adding Pakistan also suffered casualties in the retaliatory action but the exact details are awaited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This was the second such incident in the past four days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On August 30, a JCO was killed in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The spokesman had said that Naib Subedar Rajwinder Singh was critically injured in the &#8220;unprovoked ceasefire violation&#8221; by the Pakistan army and later succumbed to injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Naib Subedar Singh was a brave, highly motivated and a sincere soldier.
