\u201cWe collectively decided to postpone the padyatra for the time being,\u201d Wangchuk remarked, hinting at a possible revival should the September 9 talks fall short of expectations. This march is tentatively scheduled to occur five days ahead of the anniversary of the September violence if satisfactory results do not emerge.<\/p>\n
Wangchuk stressed the importance of clarity from the government regarding the proposed Ladakh Assembly, expressing hopes that the MHA will present a comprehensive draft detailing its powers and rights during the upcoming meeting. “Progress on these issues would signify a successful dialogue,” he conveyed.<\/p>\n
Reiterating the sentiment of his community, Wangchuk underscored the abnormal circumstances surrounding last year\u2019s violence, implying that the LAB might disclose more about these incidents if needed. “If Ladakh continues to receive a stepmotherly treatment, we will have no choice but to launch a large-scale agitation post-September 9,” he warned.<\/p>\n
