Lauding the transformation in the Union Territory, Vice-President C P Radhakrishnan on Thursday said Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing a \u201cnew era of peace, progress, and prosperity\u201d as he experienced the pristine beauty of Dal Lake on his maiden visit to the Valley.<\/p>\n
C P Radhakrishnan, who arrived here to attend the 21st convocation of the University of Kashmir, took a morning cruise on the iconic lake today morning.<\/p>\n

In a post on \u2018X\u2019, the Vice-President described being captivated by the region\u2019s natural beauty. \u201cI experienced the timeless charm, pristine waters, and breathtaking natural beauty of Srinagar during a morning cruise on Dal Lake today,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Asserting that the region is undergoing a significant shift, C P Radhakrishnan stated he was impressed by the improved infrastructure and enhanced connectivity in the UT. He specifically credited the administration for its focus on eco-tourism and preservation of natural heritage.<\/p>\n
