{"id":64834,"date":"2026-01-19T11:49:39","date_gmt":"2026-01-19T11:49:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/index.php\/2026\/01\/19\/two-jk-athletes-selected-for-indian-wushu-teams-training-programme-in-china\/"},"modified":"2026-01-19T11:49:39","modified_gmt":"2026-01-19T11:49:39","slug":"two-jk-athletes-selected-for-indian-wushu-teams-training-programme-in-china","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/index.php\/2026\/01\/19\/two-jk-athletes-selected-for-indian-wushu-teams-training-programme-in-china\/","title":{"rendered":"Two J&#038;K athletes selected for Indian Wushu team\u2019s training programme in China"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two athletes from <strong>Jammu and Kashmir<\/strong> have been selected for the <strong>Indian Wushu Team\u2019s foreign exposure training programme in China<\/strong>, as part of preparations for the <strong>2026 Asian Games<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bhanu Partap Singh<\/strong>, a bronze medallist at the <strong>18th Asian Games<\/strong>, and <strong>Ansa Christi<\/strong>, an international player and the current <strong>No. 1 ranked athlete in the women\u2019s 52 kg category<\/strong>, will undergo a <strong>one-month specialised training programme<\/strong> in China from <strong>January 14 to February 12, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The selection was made by the <strong>Wushu Association of India (WAI)<\/strong> following a <strong>national ranking tournament held in Jammu<\/strong>, where the top eight athletes across <strong>13 events<\/strong> \u2014 seven <strong>Sanda<\/strong> and six <strong>Taolu<\/strong> \u2014 were shortlisted.
