Deputy Commissioner Dr Rakesh Minhas<\/strong> on Tuesday attended the kit distribution ceremony<\/strong> for Jammu & Kashmir Softball athletes at MA Stadium<\/strong>, Jammu, where he participated as the chief guest<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The event was organised by the J&K Sports Council<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Secretary, J&K Sports Council, Nuzhat Gul<\/strong> and Pushvinder Singh<\/strong>, Chairman, Legal Commission, were present as special guest<\/em> and guest of honour<\/em>, respectively.<\/p>\n

Sports Council Reinforcing Infrastructure, Transparency: Nuzhat Gul<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Addressing athletes and officials, Nuzhat Gul highlighted the ongoing efforts of the Sports Council to:<\/p>\n

  • promote sports across the Union Territory,<\/li>\n
  • develop and upgrade facilities to international standards<\/em>, and<\/li>\n
  • ensure transparency in assistance through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT)<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    DC Encourages Athletes to Stay Focused<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    DC Dr Minhas praised the hard work, discipline, and dedication of the athletes and urged them to maintain focus to excel at the national level.<\/p>\n

    Kits Distributed; Team to Leave on Dec 11<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    High-quality, colourful sports kits were distributed among:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • athletes,<\/li>\n
    • coaches,<\/li>\n
    • team managers, and<\/li>\n
    • technical staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      A high-tea<\/strong> was hosted following the ceremony.<\/p>\n
