This milestone was recorded on <strong>25th October 2025<\/strong>, when the baby was delivered to a diabetic mother.<\/p>\n<p>After birth, occurring at <strong>1:20 PM<\/strong>, the newborn faced severe respiratory distress just thirty minutes later. The medical team swiftly recognized the urgent need for intervention and admitted the infant to the <strong>Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)<\/strong> for immediate care.<\/p>\n<p>Upon admission, health professionals implemented specialized respiratory support tailored for the baby\u2019s large-for-gestational-age classification and signs of respiratory distress. During the critical early days of hospitalization, the dedicated team observed the infant&#8217;s respiratory effort, oxygen saturation, blood sugar levels, temperature, and neurological condition closely.<\/p>\n<p>Over the next few days, the baby&#8217;s condition gradually improved, allowing the medical staff to reduce reliance on respiratory support progressively. For the last <strong>72 hours<\/strong> before discharge, the baby successfully maintained stable independent breathing, normal oxygenation, and effective temperature regulation, with no episodes indicative of respiratory distress.<\/p>\n<p>Once achieving sustained clinical stability, the newborn received clearance for discharge in a healthy state, accompanied by standard follow-up recommendations for continued monitoring.<\/p>\n<p>This successful outcome represents the expertise of the <strong>Department of Pediatrics<\/strong> under the expert guidance of <strong>Dr. Najmus Saqib<\/strong>, the Head of the Department.
