Vikram Randhawa<\/a>, visited the localities of Preet Nagar and Digiana to assess the on-ground damage caused by the recent spell of heavy rainfall. The visit aimed to understand the severity of the situation and interact with residents affected by the waterlogging and infrastructure damage.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Significant damage was observed across several areas, particularly to residential properties, lanes, and drainage systems. One of the major causes identified was the overflowing of the local nallah, which led to water entering homes and disrupting normal life.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">During the visit, MLA Randhawa was accompanied by the Satwari Mandal team, including Mandal President Ritika, other members of team and local dignitaries.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Speaking to the residents, MLA Randhawa said:<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cI understand the hardship faced by the people due to the flooding. The damage to homes and public infrastructure is deeply concerning. I assure you that I will take this matter up with the concerned departments on priority.\u201d<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He further added:<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cThe main issue is the poor condition of the nallah, which caused the water to overflow into residential areas.
