Farmers expressed deep concern<br \/>\nover their crops and cultivable land being repeatedly damaged due to recurring floods.<br \/>\nThis is not the first time the people of Ramgarh and Rajpura blocks are facing such<br \/>\ndevastation. The issue of flood damage, sand deposition, and destruction of fertile land<br \/>\nhas been a long-standing challenge for the region. He also emphasized that long-term flood<br \/>\nmanagement and preventive measures must be taken up on priority to safeguard the<br \/>\ninterests of the farming community.<br \/>\nDuring the tour, Dr. Manyal held meetings with officers including XEN PWD, Tehsildar<br \/>\nRamgarh, Tehsildar Rajpura, AEE R&amp;amp;B, BDO Ramgarh, and BDO Rajpura, and<br \/>\ninstructed them to coordinate relief operations and expedite repair works in flood-hit<br \/>\nareas.<br \/>\nSpeaking on the occasion, Dr. Manyal reiterated his commitment to addressing both<br \/>\nimmediate public grievances and the long-pending issues of Ramgarh Constituency.
