Vikram Randhawa<\/a> today inaugurated the Lane and Drain work near Rainbow Public School in Gandhi Nagar, Ward No. 20, fulfilling a long-pending demand of the residents. The inauguration was attended by officials from Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), prominent local dignitaries, and enthusiastic residents.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Prominent among those present were Rahul Kumar (Mandal President), Satbir Singh, Bhushan Verma, Rajesh Sharma, Aman Goswami, Daljeet Singh, Harshdeep, along with other respected citizens of the locality.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Addressing the gathering, MLA Randhawa said, \u201cProper lanes and drainage are essential not only for infrastructure but also for public health and cleanliness. He assured that more such works will be initiated in other wards of Gandhi Nagar and Bahu constituency to provide better civic amenities to all households.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He urged residents to cooperate with the administration by maintaining cleanliness and using the facilities responsibly. \u201cGovernment can provide facilities, but it is the joint responsibility of people to safeguard and maintain them,\u201d he added.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Local residents and dignitaries welcomed the move, thanking the MLA for taking up their demand on priority.
