Patna, Aug 4 : Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of five Kanwariyas in a road accident on the Shahkund-Sultanganj main road in Bhagalpur district last night.
\nKumar said that the accident was extremely distressing and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. \u201cThis accident is deeply saddening. I extend my deepest sympathies to the families of the deceased,\u201d he said.
\nThe Chief Minister also wished speedy recovery to those injured in the accident. He hoped the affected families would find strength and courage to cope with their loss during this difficult time.
\nAccording to reports, a DJ pickup van carrying Kanwariyas came into contact with a live electric wire and overturned into a roadside ditch, killing five Kanwariyas and leaving two others injured.
