JAMMU, JULY 17: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh hit out at the Congress party for its sudden concern over Jammu & Kashmir\u2019s statehood, calling it a case of \u201cboiling stale curry for political heat.\u201d He said, \u201cCongress is once again trying to cook its political bread over a border state, after decades of keeping J&K trapped in boycott politics, dynastic rule, and separatist appeasement.\u201dAmarnath Yatra travel packages<\/p>\n
Chugh asserted that \u201conly Prime Minister Narendra Modi has delivered true justice, development, and faith to the people of J&K and Ladakh. From panchayat to Lok Sabha, democratic processes have been fully restored.\u201d<\/p>\n
Referring to the Congress letter to the Prime Minister, Chugh said it was nothing but \u201ca shallow stunt.\u201d He added, \u201cThe same leaders who opposed the abrogation of Article 370 are now pretending to care about statehood. PM Modi\u2019s word is not mere assurance, it is a resolute promise. At the appropriate time, full statehood will be restored.\u201d<\/p>\n
He also slammed the Congress-NC-PDP alliance, saying, \u201cThe same parties that turned J&K into a laboratory of corruption and separatism are now lecturing us on the Constitution. The people of India are watching, and they remember everything.\u201d<\/p>\n
On the encounter of Jaish commander Haider, Chugh said, \u201cThis is a decisive victory for our security forces. Haider was not just a terrorist, he was a ruthless killer and a top commander of Jaish. Neutralizing him proves the Modi government\u2019s unwavering zero-tolerance policy on terrorism.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added, \u201cPakistan-sponsored terror is being rooted out, and every terrorist will be brought to justice. This operation sends a clear message, India doesn\u2019t show white flags, it strikes hard. This is New India, it doesn\u2019t stay silent.\u201d
