JULY 17: In an appalling incident, a woman pilgrim dies while three other sustained injuries owing to landslide that triggered along Baltal track in Ganderbal district amid Amarnath Yatra.<\/p>\n
Taking cognizance of this, the authorities have suspended the holy pilgrimage temporarily.<\/p>\n
As per the reports, the landslide triggered at Z-mode sweeping several pilgrims downhill along the Baltal route.<\/p>\n
It is learnt that the injured were rushed to the Baltal Base Camp hospital, where a woman identified as Sona Bhai, a resident of Rajasthan, was declared dead on arrival.<\/p>\n
In the meantime, the authorities no fresh batch of pilgrims will allowed to approach the holy Shrine today owing to landslides and heavy rainfall along the pilgrimage trek.<\/p>\n
Pertinent to mention, as on 15 July more than 2.34 lakh pilgrims have paid obeisance at the holy Shine dedicated to Baba Barfani.<\/p>\n
