(OTP)<\/strong> will become <strong data-start=\"514\" data-end=\"527\">mandatory<\/strong> for all online <strong data-start=\"543\" data-end=\"573\">Right to Information (RTI)<\/strong> applications starting <strong data-start=\"596\" data-end=\"613\">June 16, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"616\" data-end=\"868\">According to an official statement released by the <strong data-start=\"667\" data-end=\"714\">Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT)<\/strong>, the initiative is designed to <strong data-start=\"746\" data-end=\"783\">enhance data protection standards<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"788\" data-end=\"829\">safeguard users\u2019 personal information<\/strong> on the government\u2019s digital platforms.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"872\" data-end=\"1118\"><strong><em data-start=\"872\" data-end=\"1077\">\u201cTo enhance citizen privacy and data security, and to strengthen the portal\u2019s cybersecurity framework, email verification via OTP will be implemented for
