Indian golfers Diksha Dagar<\/strong>, Avani Prashanth<\/strong>, and Hitaashee Bakshi<\/strong> opened their campaigns at the Jabra Ladies Open<\/strong> with identical rounds of one-over 72<\/strong>, placing them tied 36th<\/strong> at the end of the first round at the Evian Resort Golf Club<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Among the Indian contingent, Tvesa Malik<\/strong> had a rough start, carding a four-over 75<\/strong>, leaving her tied 84th<\/strong> on the leaderboard.<\/p>\n

The standout performance of the day came from Sweden\u2019s Moa Folke<\/strong>, who surged to the top with a stunning round of eight birdies and just one bogey<\/strong>, finishing at seven-under-par 64<\/strong>. Folke, who teed off from the 6th hole\u2014as players started from the 6th and 15th\u2014birdied key holes including the 6th, 7th, 9th, 12th, 13th, 15th, and 18th, with her sole blemish coming on the 16th.<\/p>\n

Mixed Outing for Indians<\/h3>\n

After a Top-10 finish last week<\/strong>, Diksha Dagar looked strong early in her round, starting with back-to-back birdies<\/strong> on the 6th and 7th holes and adding another on the 9th. However, two mid-round bogeys<\/strong> on the 13th and 16th set her back. A birdie on the 1st helped her recover, but a string of three consecutive bogeys<\/strong> from the 3rd to the 5th dragged her back to 1-over-par<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Avani Prashanth<\/strong>, beginning her round on the 15th, recorded three birdies<\/strong> against four bogeys<\/strong> in a steady outing, while Hitaashee Bakshi<\/strong>, who impressed with a T-12 finish<\/strong> at last week\u2019s Dutch Ladies Open, carded two birdies<\/strong>, one bogey<\/strong>, and a double bogey<\/strong> for her 72.<\/p>\n
