Fourteen-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi<\/strong> capped off a promising debut season with a composed half-century as Rajasthan Royals<\/strong> signed off from a disappointing IPL 2025<\/strong> campaign with a six-wicket win<\/strong> over Chennai Super Kings<\/strong> in an otherwise inconsequential contest on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The prodigious Suryavanshi, who has emerged as one of the rare positives in an otherwise forgettable season for the Royals, scored a dazzling 57 off 33 balls<\/strong> to help his team chase down 188<\/strong> with 17 balls to spare<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Royals\u2019 Chase: Youth and Flair Take Centre Stage<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal<\/strong> provided an explosive start, smashing a quickfire 36<\/strong>, including 18 runs off a single over<\/strong> from CSK\u2019s Khaleel Ahmed<\/strong>. His early aggression laid the groundwork for the chase before he was bowled by Anshul Kamboj<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Suryavanshi then took charge, blending maturity with fearlessness. He targeted CSK\u2019s spin stalwart Ravindra Jadeja<\/strong>, hitting him for two towering sixes and brought up his fifty with a fourth maximum off Noor Ahmad<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Openers Devon Conway (10)<\/strong> and Urvil Patel (0)<\/strong> fell cheaply to Yudhvir Singh Charak (3\/47)<\/strong>, who combined effectively with Akash Madhwal (3\/29)<\/strong> to rip through the top and lower-middle order.<\/p>\n

For the Royals, Yudhvir Singh<\/strong> was the pick of the bowlers with a fiery spell, including crucial wickets in the powerplay. Akash Madhwal<\/strong> continued his strong run with another disciplined performance, while Tushar Deshpande<\/strong> and Wanindu Hasaranga<\/strong> played supporting roles.<\/p>\n

CSK’s bowlers had little answer to the Royals’ aggressive intent, though Ravichandran Ashwin (2\/41)<\/strong> showed glimpses of control in the middle overs.<\/p>\n
