She clinched <strong data-start=\"704\" data-end=\"728\">gold in LOBA (Fight)<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"733\" data-end=\"768\">silver in the Autistic category<\/strong>, playing a key role in India\u2019s overall <strong data-start=\"808\" data-end=\"831\">second-place finish<\/strong> in the medal tally. <strong data-start=\"852\" data-end=\"874\">Host nation Russia<\/strong> claimed the championship, while <strong data-start=\"907\" data-end=\"921\">Uzbekistan<\/strong> secured third place.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"946\" data-end=\"1224\">Disha, daughter of <strong data-start=\"965\" data-end=\"993\">Praduman Krishan Pandith<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"998\" data-end=\"1007\">Jyoti<\/strong>, is currently pursuing an <strong data-start=\"1034\" data-end=\"1066\">integrated degree in Zoology<\/strong>. Her latest victory adds to an already impressive record\u2014this being her <strong data-start=\"1139\" data-end=\"1168\">sixth international medal<\/strong>, including a previous <strong data-start=\"1191\" data-end=\"1221\">gold at the Sqay World Cup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1226\" data-end=\"1504\">Speaking to <em data-start=\"1238\" data-end=\"1249\">Excelsior<\/em>, Disha shared her pride in the achievement and credited her success to the unwavering support of her <strong data-start=\"1351\" data-end=\"1389\">coach, Grandmaster Nazir Ahmad Mir<\/strong>, and her family. \u201cIt\u2019s their guidance and encouragement that help me balance both sports and studies,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1506\" data-end=\"1895\">Beyond her personal achievements, Disha is passionate about <strong data-start=\"1566\" data-end=\"1624\">training young Sqay practitioners in Jammu and Kashmir<\/strong>. She aims to <strong data-start=\"1638\" data-end=\"1674\">promote self-defense among women<\/strong>, empowering them to become strong, confident, and resilient.
