The court issued a notice to the police on the main petition as well as on the stay application and listed the matter for further hearing on <strong data-start=\"512\" data-end=\"524\">April 24<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"529\" data-end=\"768\">Imam has challenged the trial court\u2019s <strong data-start=\"567\" data-end=\"578\">March 7<\/strong> order, in which it stated that he was not only an <strong data-start=\"629\" data-end=\"643\">instigator<\/strong> but also one of the <strong data-start=\"664\" data-end=\"720\">\u201ckingpins of a larger conspiracy to incite violence\u201d<\/strong> and had ordered to frame charges against him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"770\" data-end=\"973\">The trial court observed that Imam\u2019s <strong data-start=\"807\" data-end=\"828\">December 13, 2019<\/strong> speech near <strong data-start=\"841\" data-end=\"876\">Jamia Millia Islamia University<\/strong> was <strong data-start=\"881\" data-end=\"895\">\u201cvenomous\u201d<\/strong>, \u201cpitted one religion against another,\u201d and was <strong data-start=\"944\" data-end=\"970\">\u201cindeed a hate speech\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"975\" data-end=\"1268\">The case is being heard against Imam and others, who were booked at <strong data-start=\"1043\" data-end=\"1080\">New Friends Colony Police Station<\/strong> under various provisions of the <strong data-start=\"1113\" data-end=\"1120\">IPC<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"1126\" data-end=\"1180\">Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act (PDPP)<\/strong>, and the <strong data-start=\"1190\" data-end=\"1202\">Arms Act<\/strong>.
