Chasing 156<\/strong>, Ravindra played a match-winning knock of 65 (45)<\/em>* and built a 67-run partnership<\/strong> with skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad (53 off 26)<\/strong>, laying the foundation for victory.<\/p>\n

The Chepauk crowd<\/strong> was eager for MS Dhoni<\/strong> to finish the match, but it was Ravindra who sealed the win with a six off Mitchell Santner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn that moment, you\u2019re focused on getting the team over the line. But when Dhoni walks in, the noise and whistles are impossible to ignore. It was surreal to share the crease with him for the first time.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s a legend, and the crowd wanted him to finish, but my job was to close the game. Dhoni has done it so many times for CSK\u2014and I believe he will do it many more times.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Respect for MI\u2019s Young Spinner and Bumrah\u2019s Recovery Update<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Ravindra also acknowledged the impressive debut of MI\u2019s young left-arm wrist spinner, Vignesh Puthur<\/strong>, who took 3\/32<\/strong>, dismissing Gaikwad, Shivam Dube, and Deepak Hooda.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe bowled brilliantly. He\u2019s young but showed great skill to take wickets of three experienced batters. He definitely has a bright future ahead.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, MI bowling coach Paras Mhambrey<\/strong> provided an update on Jasprit Bumrah\u2019s rehabilitation<\/strong>, stating that the star pacer is recovering well<\/strong> and will return soon.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe knew he wouldn\u2019t be available for the first game, so we had to plan accordingly. The NCA has given us positive updates on his progress. While we won\u2019t set a specific timeframe, Bumrah is a key part of MI, and we look forward to his return.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
