Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has acknowledged J&K Bank\u2019s significant financial contribution towards the education of children of ex-servicemen and war widows under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.<\/p>\n
J&K Bank\u2019s Managing Director & CEO, Amitava Chatterjee, was felicitated at the Armed Forces Flag Day CSR Conclave in New Delhi, where he was recognized alongside other key contributors for the bank\u2019s dedicated efforts towards the welfare of soldiers\u2019 families.<\/p>\n
Addressing the event, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh lauded the role of the corporate sector in national development, emphasizing the crucial support provided to the armed forces and their families. He appreciated the bank\u2019s donation to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF), managed by the Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB) under the Ministry of Defence, which assists the families of veterans across the country.<\/p>\n
