The AAP faced a massive setback with its top leaders struggling to secure their constituencies. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal<\/strong>, contesting from the New Delhi<\/strong> seat, found himself in a tug-of-war battle<\/strong>, trailing BJP\u2019s Parvesh Sahib Singh<\/strong> by over 1,170 votes<\/strong> after nine rounds of counting. Meanwhile, his former deputy, Manish Sisodia<\/strong>, conceded defeat in Jangpura<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

While the BJP has secured a decisive victory<\/strong>, the party has yet to announce who will take over as Delhi’s new Chief Minister<\/strong>. Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva<\/strong> confirmed that the Central leadership<\/strong> will decide on the CM candidate soon.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe people have chosen BJP for a strong, stable, and development-driven government. We will work towards a cleaner, safer, and more prosperous Delhi under PM Modi\u2019s leadership,\u201d<\/em> he stated.<\/p>\n
