While casting his vote in the New Delhi constituency at the Nirman Bhawan polling centre, Gandhi said, \u201cMy dear brothers and sisters of Delhi, I appeal to all of you to go and vote today. Your every vote for the Congress will protect your rights, strengthen the Constitution, and put Delhi back on the path of progress.\u201d<\/p>\n
In his post on X (formerly Twitter), Gandhi further emphasized the issues affecting the capital, questioning, \u201cWhile voting, remember who is responsible for polluted air, dirty water, and broken roads. Voting is currently underway for the high-stakes Delhi Assembly elections, with the AAP aiming for a third consecutive term, capitalizing on its governance record and welfare programs. Meanwhile, the BJP and Congress are looking to regain lost ground. Polling is being held at 13,766 stations across 70 Assembly constituencies, with 699 candidates in the race.<\/p>\n
