{"id":58995,"date":"2024-12-28T06:55:26","date_gmt":"2024-12-28T06:55:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/?p=58995"},"modified":"2024-12-28T06:55:27","modified_gmt":"2024-12-28T06:55:27","slug":"poonch-district-taekwondo-championship-kicks-off","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/index.php\/2024\/12\/28\/poonch-district-taekwondo-championship-kicks-off\/","title":{"rendered":"Poonch District Taekwondo Championship Kicks Off"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>7th Kyrougi and 4th Poomsae Poonch District Taekwondo Championship<\/strong>, organized by the <strong>Poonch District Taekwondo Association (PDTA)<\/strong> under the aegis of <strong>J&amp;K Taekwondo Association<\/strong> and supported by the <strong>J&amp;K Sports Council<\/strong>, began today at the Poonch Taekwondo Academy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This championship features categories for <strong>Pee Wee, Sub Junior, Cadet, Junior, and Senior<\/strong>, encompassing both male and female participants. Around <strong>190 young athletes<\/strong> from five Taekwondo clubs and various institutions are competing in this significant event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Guests and Addresses<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>chief guest<\/strong>, <strong>Taranpreet Kour<\/strong>, General Secretary of PDTA, extended her best wishes to all participants. Other dignitaries present included <strong>Dr. Sarfraz Mir<\/strong>, Chairman of Sir Syed Education Mission and Soch India, <strong>Jatinder Sharma<\/strong>, Head Master of GMS Khorinar, and <strong>Sarvjeet Singh<\/strong>, Wushu Coach. The welcome address was delivered by <strong>Amit Sharma<\/strong>, Joint Secretary of PDTA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technical Supervision and Results<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event is being technically supervised by <strong>Rajinder Singh<\/strong>, Taekwondo Coach and National Referee from the Department of Youth Services and Sports, along with <strong>Akarshit Sudan<\/strong> and district referees <strong>Toseef Tahir<\/strong>, <strong>Vishvas Sudan<\/strong>, <strong>Vishnu Raina<\/strong>, <strong>Qasim Hussain<\/strong>, and <strong>Hassan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In today\u2019s matches, gold medalists included <strong>Prabjot Singh<\/strong>, <strong>Garvin Gupta<\/strong>, <strong>Ranajay Gupta<\/strong>, <strong>Karnik Bhalla<\/strong>, <strong>Ishmeet Singh<\/strong>, <strong>Wasia Kouser<\/strong>, <strong>Sana Chouhan<\/strong>, <strong>Kritika Raina<\/strong>, <strong>Atiba Fatima<\/strong>, and <strong>Maryiam ul Nisa<\/strong>.
