Australian Skipper Remains Determined to Break India’s Dominance in Test Series<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Adelaide, Dec 5, 2024<\/strong> \u2013 Having already secured the ODI World Cup and multiple Ashes victories, Australian captain Pat Cummins remains determined to add one more prestigious title to his trophy cabinet: the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Despite suffering a crushing 295-run defeat in the opening Test in Perth, Cummins is confident that his team can turn things around and end Australia\u2019s long wait for a series win against India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which has eluded Australia since their 2-0 victory in 2014-15, is the final item on Cummins\u2019 bucket list. \u201cI don\u2019t think it\u2019s pressure. You\u2019re playing at home, and you obviously want to do well. We know India is a really strong side, and a lot of us were part of those recent three series defeats. But yeah, it\u2019s a big series, and we\u2019re not looking too far back in the past,\u201d Cummins said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cummins will rely on seasoned players like Mitchell Starc, Nathan Lyon, and Mitchell Marsh to help lead the charge.
