Health officials confirmed the latest cases, with the majority of new infections reported from <strong>Jammu district<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jammu District Leads with 3,718 Cases<\/strong><br>In <strong>Jammu district<\/strong>, <strong>41 new dengue cases<\/strong> were recorded yesterday, bringing the district&#8217;s total to <strong>3,718<\/strong> cases. Health officials have noted that over <strong>90% of these cases<\/strong> have been reported from urban areas, specifically the <strong>municipal regions<\/strong>, pointing to the growing urban spread of the vector-borne disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dengue Cases Across Other Districts<\/strong><br>Apart from Jammu, the following districts have reported new cases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Kathua<\/strong>: 10 new cases, bringing the total to <strong>592<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Udhampur<\/strong>: 5 new cases, raising the total to <strong>322<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Samba<\/strong>: 2 new cases, bringing the total to <strong>636<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ramban<\/strong>: 1 new case, with the total now at <strong>69<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Case Breakdown Across Jammu and Kashmir<\/strong><br>As of now, the <strong>dengue case distribution<\/strong> across districts is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Samba<\/strong>: 636 cases<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Kathua<\/strong>: 592 cases<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Udhampur<\/strong>: 322 cases<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reasi<\/strong>: 287 cases<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rajouri<\/strong>: 184 cases<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Doda<\/strong>: 169 cases<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Poonch<\/strong>: 69 cases<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ramban<\/strong>: 69 cases<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Kishtwar<\/strong>: 20 cases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Kashmir Region and Out-of-State Cases<\/strong><br>Additionally, <strong>22 dengue cases<\/strong> have been reported from the <strong>Kashmir region<\/strong>, along with <strong>40 cases<\/strong> recorded in people who had traveled from other states and Union Territories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>31,910 Tests Conducted; One Fatality Recorded<\/strong><br>To date, a total of <strong>31,910 patients<\/strong> have been tested for dengue across the Union Territory, with <strong>6,128<\/strong> testing positive. Despite the rising number of infections, health officials reported <strong>only one death<\/strong> due to dengue, which suggests that the management of severe cases has been relatively effective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Details of the Latest Cases<\/strong><br>Of the <strong>60 new cases<\/strong> reported yesterday, <strong>53 were adults<\/strong> (26 males and 27 females), and <strong>7 were children<\/strong> (4 males and 3 females).
