The event also marked the launch of a <strong>year-long celebration<\/strong> dedicated to the tribal community, with the period from <strong>November 15, 2023, to November 15, 2025<\/strong> officially designated as <strong>\u201cAadiwasi Gaurav Din\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his address, <strong>Amit Shah<\/strong> reminded the gathering that in <strong>2021<\/strong>, <strong>Prime Minister Narendra Modi<\/strong> had announced that <strong>November 15<\/strong> would be observed annually as <strong>\u201cAadiwasi Gaurav Din\u201d<\/strong> to honor the memory of <strong>Bhagwan Birsa Munda<\/strong>, who was born on this day in <strong>Jharkhand<\/strong>. This year, the government is celebrating his <strong>150th birth anniversary<\/strong> with a series of events to acknowledge the contributions of tribal communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cOn the occasion of Bhagwan Birsa Munda\u2019s 150th birth anniversary, we are announcing that the entire year, starting today until November 15, 2025, will be celebrated as Aadiwasi Gaurav Din,&#8221;<\/strong> Shah said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Home Minister further elaborated on <strong>Birsa Munda&#8217;s legacy<\/strong>, dividing his life into two key contributions: his tireless efforts to <strong>protect tribal culture<\/strong> and his <strong>supreme sacrifice<\/strong> in the fight for India\u2019s independence. At the young age of 25, Munda&#8217;s leadership and courage left a lasting impact on the nation, a story that continues to resonate even after 150 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cBhagwan Birsa Munda\u2019s life can be divided into two parts: one to protect tribal culture and the other to fight for the freedom of the country.
