The Prime Minister congratulated Trump on his &#8220;spectacular and resounding victory,&#8221; emphasizing that the election results reflected the &#8220;deep trust&#8221; of the American people in his leadership and vision. Modi also extended congratulations to Trump for the Republican Party&#8217;s success in the Congressional elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The leaders discussed expanding cooperation in several key areas, including technology, defence, energy, and space, and emphasized the importance of the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership for mutual benefit and global peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PM Modi also took to X on Wednesday night, sharing that he had a &#8220;great conversation&#8221; with his &#8220;friend&#8221; Trump.
