Mr. Rajnath Singh remains the Defence Minister, while Mr. Amit Shah retains his position as Home Minister. Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman continues as Finance Minister, and Dr. S Jaishankar retains his role as External Affairs Minister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, has been appointed as the Minister for Agriculture, Farmers Welfare, and Rural Development. Mr. Kiren Rijiju takes charge of the Parliamentary Affairs Ministry. BJP President J P Nadda, re-inducted into the government, assumes the role of Health and Family Welfare and Chemicals and Fertilizers Minister, while former Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar is appointed as Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs and Power. Nitin Gadkari remains the Minister for Road Transport &amp; Highways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan continues as the Education Minister, and Mr. Hardeep Singh Puri remains the Petroleum &amp; Natural Gas Minister. Mr. Ashwini Vaishnav retains his position as Railways Minister and also takes on the responsibility of the Information &amp; Broadcasting Ministry. Additionally, he oversees the Electronics and Information Technology Ministry. Mr. Rijiju also holds the Ministry of Minority Affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Pralhad Joshi assumes the role of Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food &amp; Public Distribution, and New &amp; Renewable Energy. Mr. Jyotiraditya Scindia becomes the Minister of Communications and Development of North-Eastern Region, while Mr. Piyush Goyal continues as the Commerce and Industry Minister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PM&#8217;s focus on continuity in key portfolios is evident, alongside ensuring significant ministries for NDA allies. Mr. K Rammohan Naidu, the youngest minister in the Modi government from the Telugu Desam party (TDP), takes on the Civil Aviation portfolio. Former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi is appointed as the Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Chirag Paswan of the Lok Janshakti Party (RV) becomes the Minister of Food Processing Industries, and Mr. Rajiv Ranjan Singh (Lalan Singh) of the Janata Dal (United) oversees the Panchayati Raj, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying ministries. Former Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy becomes the Heavy Industries Minister and also takes on the Steel Ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BJP&#8217;s veteran from Assam, Sarbananda Sonowal, continues as Minister of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways. Mr. Jual Oram from Odisha is appointed as the Minister of Tribal Affairs, while Bihar&#8217;s Giriraj Singh becomes the Minister of Textiles. Dr. Virendra Kumar takes on the role of Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, and Gajendra Singh Shekhawat from Rajasthan becomes the Minister of Culture and Tourism. Mr. Mansukh Mandaviya becomes the Minister of Labour and also oversees the Sports and Youth Affairs Ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>G Kishan Reddy takes on the role of Minister for Coal and Mines. Jayant Chaudhary, the RLD leader, becomes the Minister of State with Independent charge for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, as well as MoS in the Education Ministry.
